  • Therapy duration.
  • Type of intervention.

These recommendations may differ between children and may change as the child progresses.

A therapist may recommend referral to another professional, medical practitioner, school service or specialist where appropriate.

Prayatna may decline, pause, modify or discontinue a Service where it considers that:

  • Another level of care is required.
  • The child’s needs are outside the therapist’s professional scope.
  • Required consent or information has not been provided.
  • Participation creates a safety risk.
  • The therapeutic relationship has materially broken down.
  • Continuation would conflict with professional or legal obligations.

Where reasonably possible, the reason and appropriate next steps will be communicated to the Parent or Guardian.

11 Outcomes and Progress

Every child is different. Response to therapy can depend on factors including:

  • The child’s individual needs.
  • Attendance and consistency.
  • Developmental and medical factors.
  • Participation during sessions.
  • Caregiver involvement.
  • Practice outside sessions.
  • The suitability of the intervention.
  • Changes in the child’s environment.

Prayatna does not guarantee a cure, diagnosis, specific score, school placement, insurance approval, reimbursement or particular developmental outcome.

Testimonials, case studies and examples appearing on the Website describe individual experiences and must not be interpreted as a promise that another child will achieve the same result.

  • Is unavailable for an online session.
  • Does not provide required access for a home visit.
  • Has not completed a required payment or registration step.

Prayatna may cancel or reschedule an appointment because of therapist illness, emergency, regulatory requirement, technical failure, unsafe conditions or another event beyond reasonable control.

Where Prayatna cancels an appointment, it will normally offer rescheduling or appropriate credit or refund for the affected prepaid Service.

  • The type of Service or package purchased.
  • Whether any part of the Service has already been delivered.
  • Any properly disclosed cancellation conditions.

  • Applicable UAE law.

No provision in these Terms removes or limits a refund or remedy that a consumer is legally entitled to receive.

The Client remains responsible for payment of Prayatna’s fees even where an insurance claim is rejected, delayed or only partially reimbursed.

18 Online Therapy and Remote Consultations

Online Services depend on clinical suitability, technology, privacy, the Client’s location and applicable professional requirements.

The Parent or Guardian is responsible for:
